You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and completion of wind turbines in a challenging offshore environment. This role requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in demanding conditions
Responsibilites:
- Work on offshore platforms and vessels to carry out turbine completions
- Collaborate with the offshore team to ensure seamless execution of tasks and efficient use of resources
- Execute the installation and commissioning of wind turbines according to technical specifications and project plans
- Conduct system tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on installed turbines
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and turbine status
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response training
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all work performed
- Provide regular reports on project progress, turbine performance, and any issues encountered
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to achieve project goals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience in wind turbine installation, commissioning, and maintenance, preferably in an offshore environment
- OEM Authorised Technician (AT) certification is mandatory
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations related to offshore wind operations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Ability to work in challenging offshore conditions and adapt to changing environment
