Every project risks different changes and delays. That's why Site Managers are able to remain on-site for extended durations, reducing the need for frequent handovers. On site, Site Manager will represent our client company and be the link between on-site workforce and off-site stakeholders, ensuring that project remains on track and within budget.


Responsibilites:

  • Provide visible, strong and active EHS leadership within the project, acting as a champion of Zero Harm. Responsible to ensure the issuance of EHS standards, regulations and procedures to ensure a Zero Harm environment and to perform within your leading function as a role model.
  • Responsible for ensuring that activities at site comply with company and project targets in regard to safety, schedule, cost and quality. In case of deviations then responsible for developing and implementing countermeasures whilst providing transparency for early warnings for escalation and reporting.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance by reviewing the work progress daily.
  • Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging challenges
  • maintaining project documentation and other construction-related formalities.

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven working experience in the construction industry
  • Recent employment in a similar position on projects related to power infrastructure
  • Experience in coordinating direct construction employees and subcontractors
  • Ability to analyse design and technical documentation as well as the schedule of works
  • Decision-making skills and reliability
  • Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written
  • Analyse, control, and mitigate risks
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance by reviewing the work progress daily
